Absentee Bidding

Absentee bidding is the act of placing a bid on an item that you are interested in purchasing in the event you cannot attend an auction.

Allied Auctioneers & Associates welcome absentee bids.

  • We try to accommodate customers unable to attend the live auction.
  • It is our policy to accept absentee bids, but there will be a five percent (5%) buyer’s premium added if you successfully win the bid to compensate for the extra handling of the items.
  • All items that have absentee bids left on them will be clearly identifiable by colored stickers.
  • A staff member will bid on behalf of the absentee bidder.
  • In the event an item with a left bid is overlooked or missed, the auction company or any of its employees are not held responsible.
