To bid online you will need to click the "register to bid" button create an account. If you're buying as a business please enter your business name as "first name", and your name in the spot for "last name". You will be required to enter a valid credit card number and that card will be pinged for $100; this is not a charge but only an authorization to verify your identity. All purchases except those noted otherwise will be charged to this card with a 3% fee. Once you create an account you will be able to bid on all of the lots, click the large blue button to enter the auction.
You will have two options of how to bid; you can click the button to bid at the next increment or you can use the Maxbid feature. If you choose to create a Maxbid, the computer software will bid on your behalf up to the amount you entered only if another bidder bids. The software will only bid enough to keep you in the lead and will never exceed the amount you entered.
The auction will close on Sunday, March 14th starting at 7:00PM. Items will close at a rate of two items per minute. If anyone bids in the last two minutes of an item closing the bidding will be extended to give the person whom was out-bid the opportunity to bid again. Each item will close when there is no active bidding in the time allowed.`
After the auction all winning bidders will be emailed an invoice and credit cards will be charged unless prior arrangements have been made. Credit card payments are subject to a 3% convenience fee. The winning bidder of the "Naming rights to the Show Ring" and anyone who purchases a "Pen Promise" will be invoiced separately.
