For more info click here We’re excited to share that the Rockingham County 4‑H & FFA Livestock Sale will follow a new schedule beginning in 2026. After thoughtful discussion and planning, the sale will now take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. This change allows us to better support our growing program, create a smoother experience for buyers and families, and give our youth the recognition they deserve. We’re grateful for the continued support of our community and look forward to starting this new chapter together at the fair.

We are honored again this year to help the kids in Augusta County that make up the future of agriculture in our area. These kids have raised and cared for their market animal projects in preparation for the Augusta County market animal show and sale. The show will take place at Augusta Expo on Thursday, April 30th, and Friday, May 1st, with the auction sale on Saturday, May 2nd.

POSTPONED UNTIL FEBRUARY 28TH AND MOVED LOCATION. We're helping with the 8th annual Augusta County 4H/FFA Market Animal Show Fundraiser. Doors open at 4:30 and dinner will be served at 5:30. There will be a silent auction and a live auction starting at 6:30. This year, we'll be in the Stewart Middle School cafeteria; tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Please join us as we raise funds to support our county's 4-H and FFA members.

Firearms Background Check: All firearms will require a background check and completion of the Federal Firearms License paperwork. This paperwork will be done by Nuckols Gun Works, 294 Lee Hwy., Verona, VA 24482 (Nuckols hours are 10AM-6PM on weekdays, 8-4 on Saturday, closed on Sunday). Buyers must come to the auction location to pay for your firearms and transfer fees then take your paid receipt to Nuckols Gun Works to pick up your gun/s. There will be a $25.00 fee per gun to complete the paperwork. The card you register with will have a $100 authorization hold placed on it. This is not a charge and typically disappears from your card within 72 hours.
