From the estate of Charles Huffman and the living estate of Susan Huffman, the estate of Captain Fred Lawler, and others we are selling two tractors, assorted tools & equipment, and more.

General Info: This auction will be online bidding only ending on December 15th at 7:00PM. All items sell as-is with no warranty. We encourage you to come and preview the items to satisfy your curiosity to the condition of the items being sold. Preview is 12/14 and 12/15 from 3-6PM. Winning bidders will receive a sign up schedule after the auction is over to schedule a time to pick up on Friday, 12/16 from 2-6PM or Saturday, 12/17, from 9-Noon. A skid loader will be available to load bigger items.

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer’s Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid, five percent (5%) will be added for credit card processing. 5.3% Virginia sales tax will be charged on all items unless it is a titled vehicle/trailer or you provide a tax exempt form prior to payment. Tax refunds will not be issued after payment has been made.

Payment: Cash, Credit Card, Check, Cashier’s Check, Money Order, or Wire Transfer are approved methods of payment. A credit card is required to register for online bidding. A $100 authorization “hold” will be placed on your card and that hold will typically be released within 72 hours after registering depending on your card holder’s regulations.

Pickup: All items must be picked up and removed from the auction site on the scheduled removal days unless other arrangements have been made with the auction company. Any item not picked up by the end of the scheduled pick up time will become property of the auction company unless arrangements have been previously made. Removal days for this auction will be on Friday, 12/16 from 2-6PM or Saturday, 12/17, from 9-Noon. A skid loader will be available to load bigger items.

Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. Titles are guaranteed for all titled vehicles unless the description states “no title”. If paying by check (if applicable), titles may be held until check clears.

Bidding: This auction will be an online auction with online bidding only. The highest bidder for each item shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine the successful bidder, or the disputed lot shall be offered again at the last undisputed bid and resold. The auction record kept online will be the official record.

Auctioneers Announcement: The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids on behalf of an absentee bidder, the seller, or himself. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and in all cases of dispute the auctioneer’s decision shall be final.

Technical Issues: Neither the company providing the software nor the auction company shall be held responsible for a missed bid or the failure of the software to function properly for any reason. In the unfortunate event of a DDOS attack or server attack/shut down, the auction company reserves the right, but is not required, to extend bidding time.
